I work in IT, primarily in architecture, DevOps, and cloudOps. I spend quite a bit of time trying to understand how things work and how to make them work better. I love Linux (I started with Fedora Core 4, grew up on Ubuntu, and currently use Omarchy), free software, open source, and automating everything I can: a good developer is a lazy developer (automate, automate, automate). I’m also a firm believer in Conway’s Law, and I draw inspiration from Toyota Kata, the Toyota Production System (TPS), Lean Management, and TOGAF in my day-to-day work. I’m fundamentally convinced that our progress must serve humanity and improve our quality of life.

Music plays a huge role in my life and has shaped who I’ve become since my early teens. Electronic music, classical, techno and tekno, Oi!, punk, jazz… I love discovering it all! I’ve been building synthesizers since I was 17. I play bass. I DJ Italo-disco and tribe music, and I organize free parties. I believe that culture is a mirror of society.

On the side, I do photography (mainly street); I really enjoy sailing and scuba diving, and traveling to discover the wonders of humanity and the Earth. I was very politically active when I was younger; today, I reflect on politics more than I get involved in it.

My plan for my later years is to split my time between a boat and a cooperative farm that would host a cultural venue, a pirate cinema, a community kitchen, a fabrication/repair workshop (including an electronics lab, of course), and a community data center to reduce our dependence on the internet giants—all while sharing these experiences with like-minded enthusiasts.
